a very frightening reality. Middle school students need to know that
they are in a safe, supportive environment, and because of bullying they
may not feel supported. Young adolescents need support and encouragement
during their Middle School years, bullying can cause them to feel left
out, alone, victimized, and abused. Middle Schools in general need to be
aware of bullying and proactive in dealing with the problems bullying
can cause, both to the bully and to the victim.
