Bullying in Middle Schools

Bullying is real and has a vast array of detrimental affects on children.

Bullying in Middle School does happen. For some it can be highly physical, for others, bullying can be a verbal and emotional war. Bullying is something that hurts children and adults alike, and it can hurt them for more than just a day. Bullying can make a child seem tired, unaware, and unsocial. It can make someone who is normally very energetic and happy seem very sad and lonely. It can teach the bully that solving their problems doesn't have to be as hard as working the problem out. It can lead children to commit 'bullycide,' or suicide because of bullying. In some cases, it can even cause the victim to become a bully themselves. Bullying is not something to be taken lightly, at all.
